Position Title: Senior Associate, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Management – Beauty Brands

Location: Remote

Reports To: Brand Leader(s) and Chief Brands Officer

Job Summary: The position will be responsible for driving direct-to-consumer sales for our beauty brands through digital platforms. This role involves developing and executing e-commerce strategies, managing online sales channels, optimizing the customer journey, and enhancing brand presence online. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, e-commerce management, and customer experience optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. E-commerce Strategy Development:
    1. Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive DTC sales growth.
    1. Analyze market trends and consumer behaviors to inform strategy adjustments.
  2. Online Sales Channel Management:
    1. Oversee all online sales channels, including the brand’s website, social media shops, and third-party e-commerce platforms.
    1. Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across all digital sales platforms.
  3. Customer Journey Optimization:
    1. Enhance the online shopping experience by optimizing the customer journey from awareness to purchase and post-purchase.
    1. Implement strategies to increase conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
  4. Digital Marketing and Campaigns:
    1. Collaborate with internal team(s) to create and execute digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic and sales.
    1. Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and other digital marketing tactics to boost online presence and engagement.
  5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    1. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of e-commerce strategies and campaigns.
    1. Generate regular reports on sales performance, customer insights, and website analytics.
  6. Inventory and Fulfillment Coordination:
    1. Work closely with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely order fulfillment.
    1. Address any operational challenges that may impact the DTC sales process.
  • Customer Service and Support:
    • Oversee the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any issues related to online sales.
    • Implement systems to capture and act on customer feedback.
  • Product Launches and Promotions:
    • Plan and execute product launches and promotional activities for the online store.
    • Coordinate with product development and marketing teams to align digital initiatives with overall brand strategy.
  • Brand Management and Representation:
    • Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all digital touchpoints.
    • Represent the brand at online events, webinars, and other digital forums.
  • Technology and Platform Management:
    • Stay updated on the latest e-commerce technologies and trends.
    • Recommend and implement new tools and platforms to enhance the DTC sales experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
  • Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving customer experience.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
