Position Title: Senior Associate, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Management – Beauty Brands

Reports To: Brand Leader(s) and Chief Brands Officer
Job Summary: The position will be responsible for driving direct-to-consumer sales for our beauty brands through digital platforms. This role involves developing and executing e-commerce strategies, managing online sales channels, optimizing the customer journey, and enhancing brand presence online. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, e-commerce management, and customer experience optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- E-commerce Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive DTC sales growth.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behaviors to inform strategy adjustments.
- Online Sales Channel Management:
- Oversee all online sales channels, including the brand’s website, social media shops, and third-party e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across all digital sales platforms.
- Customer Journey Optimization:
- Enhance the online shopping experience by optimizing the customer journey from awareness to purchase and post-purchase.
- Implement strategies to increase conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
- Digital Marketing and Campaigns:
- Collaborate with internal team(s) to create and execute digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic and sales.
- Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and other digital marketing tactics to boost online presence and engagement.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of e-commerce strategies and campaigns.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, customer insights, and website analytics.
- Inventory and Fulfillment Coordination:
- Work closely with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely order fulfillment.
- Address any operational challenges that may impact the DTC sales process.
- Customer Service and Support:
- Oversee the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any issues related to online sales.
- Implement systems to capture and act on customer feedback.
- Product Launches and Promotions:
- Plan and execute product launches and promotional activities for the online store.
- Coordinate with product development and marketing teams to align digital initiatives with overall brand strategy.
- Brand Management and Representation:
- Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all digital touchpoints.
- Represent the brand at online events, webinars, and other digital forums.
- Technology and Platform Management:
- Stay updated on the latest e-commerce technologies and trends.
- Recommend and implement new tools and platforms to enhance the DTC sales experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing, preferably in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
- Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving customer experience.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms, analytics tools, and CRM systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
