Historically the Eu’Genia and Mother’ Shea brands purchased nuts from our 7,500 organically trained and sustainably paid female pickers in Ghana. The shea butter is then processed according to the methods developed by Eugenia Akuete, past President of the Global Shea Alliance.

In our commitment to fair wages and opportunities for our team, we donate 15% of our profits back in the form of an education fund to the women pickers.
